Oscar Wentworth King, M.D., was born Nov. 19th, 1883. High school days spent at his home, Wilmington, N.C., after completion of which course, he entered Wake Forest College, N.C., and spent three years at the latter school in pursuance of a B.S. degree. He then entered the University of Maryland Medical School, spending four years at that place, and in the year 1907, received his M.D. degree. After this he served appointments in the following hospitals: Bellevue Hospital, Baltimore, and James Walker Memorial Hospital, Wilmington, N.C. Shortly after the expiration of his last hospital appointment, he drifted off to a place called Sanford, away down in Florida (the garden spot of the world), where he has decided to spend his future days.
